Telehealth Solutions have a full waiting room package available
which aims to enhance the efficiency of your surgery and improve the
experience of your patients. The Check-in Pod and Call Pod are great
additions which free up receptionist and GP time, and both connect
directly with your patient management system. The Check-in Pod is an
automated arrivals system which allows patients to check themselves
in without engaging the receptionist. This frees up receptionists’ time for
other work and avoids queues of arriving patients if the receptionist is
held up by a patient with a more significant issue. It is a touch-screen
system which simply requires the patient to enter in their date of birth
to identify their appointment – which is then confirmed to them on the
screen.
